Welcome to my electronic portfolio. These pages will offer you a glimpse of my educational
philosphy and practices, as well as an opportunity to learn a bit about me.
I am currently a Teacher Corps Fellow
in the George Washington University Teacher 2000 program. Through this partnership with Montgomery County Public Schools,
I am working towards obtaining certification as a secondary English teacher in the spring of 2008.
This portfolio
has been organized around the Montgomery County Public School (MCPS) system's Standards for Professional Development.

Here I am with my family in what is allegedly the Garden of Eden. Israel is one of the many countries in which I've lived
and worked. This international perspective, in addition to enriching my life, has informed my teaching, giving me an appreciation
for multicultural issues that are increasingly present in our classrooms.

This mural represents the work of Israeli and Palestinian high school students involved in a working group that convened to
discuss the contentious issue of Palestinian Right of Return as part of The Israel Middle East Model United Nations. I co-directed
this conference of over 300 participants from 22 high schools in Israel and the West Bank.
